There is an old tip site on the beach close to my hometown, long closed down, and grown over. It is well know by bottle collectors, possibly all around the world!
When the tide comes in with some rough weather, it gets battered by the fierce waves. Old pieces of domestic ware are uncovered; china, glass, bottles, cast iron to name a few.
These found objects made me think about their former uses and the people who had once owned them.
I wanted to use them in a way that would give them new energy: a new life! These artworks are part of a series entitled 'Process & Artefacts'
